Job Summary:
Are you passionate about advancing our understanding of the female reproductive tract and pioneering innovative treatments for gynecologic and obstetric diseases? We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as a tenure-track faculty member.

In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to lead a groundbreaking research program focusing on both benign and malignant disorders of the female reproductive system. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in conditions such as preeclampsia, polycystic ovary syndrome, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, ovarian cancer, and other gynecologic malignancies.

Responsibilities:
Research Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be expected to develop a research program that focuses on benign as well as malignant disorders of the female reproductive tract. Candidates with expertise and research interests in disorders such as preeclampsia, polycystic ovary syndrome, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, ovarian cancer and other gynecologic malignancies are encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to candidates who are using innovative primate and other mammalian models to understand basic biological processes of the female reproductive tract and are using the knowledge to develop approaches for the treatment and clinical management of reproductive tract disorders. The tenure-track faculty member will use new cutting-edge models and technologies to develop deep understanding of diseases of the female reproductive tract that will lead to novel methods for early detection and effective treatment of gynecologic and obstetric diseases. The candidate will develop a world-renowned extramurally funded translational research program.

Teaching Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be expected to mentor graduate students and postdoctoral (MD and or PhD) Fellows. Experience in training of Residents and Clinical Fellows in research will be considered an advantage. The incumbent will also share responsibility to teach graduate level courses in fields related to endocrinology and reproductive physiology.

The successful candidate will also participate in professional, public, and university service appropriate to the faculty rank.

The chosen candidate will teach medical students, residents, and fellows.

The chosen applicant will participate in administrative and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health. An essential part of these duties will be working in a collegial relationship with other faculty members.
