Serving on the Center for Health and Wellbeing (CHWB) Leadership team, responsible for leading the IT infrastructure for all student health records and ensuring the integration of IT systems across the department. This role involves the implementation of new projects and maintaining the security of personal health information within the electronic health record (EHR). Provide leadership, set priorities, and optimize utilization, customer service, and security within the EHR and all other CHWB technology.
Supervising a team of IT professionals, oversee all facets of IT within the department, including technical support, software, hardware, communication, and other technology. A key focus will be on fostering relationships with EHR leaders in University Health across the country to implement best practices for efficiency and security.
Collaborating closely with the leadership team, clinicians, and staff, enhance the quality of care and efficient resource use within CHWB. Manage vendor relationships for all CHWB technology systems. Conduct reporting and assessment, including designing metrics and conducting bi-weekly performance reporting within the clinic, as well as developing methods to collect and communicate outcome data to the institution.
Play a vital role in change management, IT crisis management, staff training, user engagement, and fostering innovation to continually improve health services delivery.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, management information systems, or related field and seven+ years of experience required OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in IT management, including project management with supervision experience in clinical information systems. Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and data privacy.
Desirable Qualifications
Anticipated Pay Range $100,000-$125,000
