The successful candidate:
***Will hire a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. This is an APP role for our outpatient malignant hematology clinic for our complex Cellular Therapy program. This includes autologous and allogeneic stem-cell transplant, CAR-T, & leukemia service. Background with these therapies and service lines highly preferred! 40 hours/week-- 4 10s or 5 8s***
Advanced Practice Providers (Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants) function collaboratively as a part of a multidisciplinary team and operate with a high level of autonomy. This opportunity will provide an opportunity for professional growth and leadership while providing care for patients undergoing treatment for hematologic malignancies. As an Advanced Practice Providers, you will provide a comprehensive patient assessment, ordering and interpreting of appropriate laboratory tests and radiologic exams, diagnosis, treatment and management of chemotherapy side effects, and medical co-morbidities. You will be expected to manage side effects and complications from underlying co-morbidities, hematologic disease and therapy. You will consult and make referrals to physicians and other members of the health care team as appropriate and coordinate discharge planning. In addition, you will provide educational support to patients and their families.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Physician Assistant
Successful completion of an ARC-PA (Accreditation Review Commission on Education of the Physician Assistant) approved program
Current certification by the National Committee on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
Active Arizona Physician Assistant License
Active DEA
Current BLS/ACLS
Nurse Practitioner
Successful completion of a master’s, post-master’s or doctorate from a Nurse Practitioner (NP) program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN – formerly NLNAC)
Current certification by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners National Certification Board (AANPCB), American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN), American Nurses Credentialing Center Certification Program (ANCC)
Active Arizona State Nursing License
Active DEA
Current BLS/ACL

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $50.06 - $82.43 / hour
