Job Description

Summary

Patient Access scheduling employees must embody and deliver professionalism, excellent customer service and communication skills along with excellent oral and verbal communication when scheduling, registering and when communicating with BCM callers.

This position will be part-time working Monday - Friday, 20 hours per week.

Job Duties

  • Meets daily and monthly quotas for scheduling and rescheduling new and established patients following trained guidelines and procedures within the EMR “Epic system”
  • Meets daily and monthly quotas for full registration following trained guidelines and procedures within theEMR “Epic system”
  • Follows trained guidelines and procedures for inputting and verifying insurance of new and returning patients utilizing EMR
  • Providesexcellent customer service interactions utilizing trained college-wide patient experience tools
  • Followstrained guidelines when utilizing telephony tools
  • Meets monthly and daily quotas for My Chart
  • Handles all other patient access scheduling and registration workflows

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One year of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two years of call center patient access experience
  • Experience in Epic EMR
  • Prior customer service experience
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
