Job Description

Summary

Coordinates day to day activities of research protocols which include screening, enrollment, and monitoring ofresearch participants. Ensures accurate data collection, documentation, organization and safety of researchparticipants. Position is grant funded for one year.

This position is on-site and is located in San Antonio.

Job Duties

  • Plan marketing/outreaching research trips
  • Help organize a CT surgery symposium in San Antonio tentatively
  • Assist with a patent development
  • Get copyright for educational activities
  • Submit papers and research projects to congresses and journals including Cureus
  • Help organize educational activities within our agreement with UNIVERSIDAD DE MONTERREY
  • Assist medical students with research projects
  • Help organize local CT surgery grand rounds
  • Interact with our artist for medical illustrations
  • Actively put together papers and grant proposals
  • Keep track of ongoing projects and collaborations
  • Potentially help with web-site creation for the Latin Heart Rounds
  • Other research-related issues/needs
  • Performs other job duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Three years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field. No experience required with preferred degree.
  • Clinical research experience.
  • Community outreach experience.
