Job DescriptionThe Department of Chemistry at Syracuse University invites applicants for a tenured Associate Professor position in Medicinal Chemistry. We are seeking candidates with innovative research programs in drug design and discovery, including those incorporating machine learning methodologies. Scientists with significant experience at nationally recognized research institutions are strongly encouraged to apply. The candidate will join a highly successful faculty in medicinal chemistry that encourages interdisciplinary research spanning multiple departments and colleges.

Qualifications
Ph.D. in Chemistry or a closely related field
Job Specific Qualifications
Established research portfolio and history of externally funded research.
Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching at all levels.
Responsibilities
Maintain an active, externally funded research program.
Teach courses in medicinal chemistry or a closely related field at all levels.
Supervise and mentor undergraduate, graduate students, and postdoctoral researchers.
Contribute to departmental, college, and university service.
